Medical Science

We received a generous Reso-A grant from the Brooklyn Borough President’s office in 2016 to build a hospital teaching lab. Students in grade six take medical science every day and learn about preventive medicine, healthy lifestyles, CPR, body systems and various careers as providers of health services.

The hospital teaching lab is equipped with medical supplies, two fully functional hospital beds, privacy curtains, scales, blood pressure equipment, an interactive Smartboard and an emergency eye wash station.
