Social Studies

MyWorld Interactive promotes critical thinking, problem solving, evidence-based reasoning, and communications skills for middle grades students. The student-centered curriculum helps us implement New York’s social studies standards and the College, Career, and Civic Life (C3) Framework for Social Studies, while fostering active, responsible citizens.

Grade 6: World History emphasizes project-based learning to explore world history, global turning points, and historical narratives. The program is available as World History survey or Early Ages edition.

Grades 7 and 8: American History emphasizes active inquiry, strong literacy connections, and a wide range of teaching options. The program is available as American History survey or Beginnings to 1877 edition.
